THESLYSHOW.COM

"The Sly Show" is the most irreverent, unpredictable, and insane talk show - ever. Sly is the Hip Hop Howard Stern; dropping bombs like Funkmaster Flex and calling everybody (and their mama) out like Wendy Williams on a bad day. Add a little Andy Milonakis-style hilarity, mix in Sly's unmistakable voice; and you get the loud-mouthed, prank-callin', dozens-playing obnoxious shock jock of the century - SLY.

The Sly Show has 24 hour music and the show is on air live Monday-Friday from 11AM - 4PM.

Healthy Thanksgiving Recipe: Herb-Roasted Turkey

The average American gains SEVEN POUNDS during the holiday season! Here's a great recipe that helps you eat healthy but still satisfies your Thanksgiving hunger.

This method produces all the good looks and moist flavor you dream of in a Thanksgiving turkey. Make sure you show this beauty off at the table before you carve it. Garnish your serving platter with fresh herb sprigs and citrus wedges.

Makes 12 servings, 3 ounces each, plus plenty of leftovers

ACTIVE TIME: 30 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 3 1/2 hours

EASE OF PREPARATION: Easy

1 10- to 12-pound turkey1/4 cup minced fresh herbs plus 20 whole sprigs, such as thyme, rosemary, sage, oregano and/or marjoram, divided2 tablespoons canola oil1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon freshly ground pepperAromatics: onion, apple, lemon and/or orange, cut into 2-inch pieces (1 1/2 cups)3 cups water, plus more as needed

1. Position a rack in the lower third of the oven; preheat to 475°F.

2. Remove giblets and neck from turkey cavities and reserve for making gravy. Place the turkey, breast-side up, on a rack in a large roasting pan; pat dry with paper towels. Mix minced herbs, oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Rub the herb mixture all over the turkey, under the skin and onto the breast meat. Place aromatics and 10 of the herb sprigs in the cavity. Tuck the wing tips under the turkey. Tie the legs together with kitchen string. Add 3 cups water and the remaining 10 herb sprigs to the pan.

3. Roast the turkey until the skin is golden brown, 45 minutes. Remove the turkey from the oven. If using a remote digital thermometer, insert it into the deepest part of the thigh, close to the joint. Cover the breast with a double layer of foil, cutting as necessary to conform to the breast. Reduce oven temperature to 350° and continue roasting for 11/4 to 13/4 hours more. If the pan dries out, tilt the turkey to let juices run out of the cavity into the pan and add 1 cup water. The turkey is done when the thermometer (or an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh without touching bone) registers 165°F.

4. Transfer the turkey to a serving platter and cover with foil. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes. Remove string and carve.

Fall 2008 Beauty Trend: Glitter Eye

I love glitter. I mean what girl doesn't like the shiny stuff? I have been wearing glitter on my eyes for years and years. I can clearly remember myself as a teen heading off to baby-sit with a fresh coat of glitter on my eyelids only to hear my mother shout "Get that crap off of your eyes, you will scare the kids." Newsflash Mama, kids like glitter too.

Glitter may have never left for me but for the rest of the population it's probably been a while since you have rocked it. This coming Fall has been dubbed by MAC Cosmetics as the "season of the glitter eye." I am sure a lot of you just jumped back in horror with images of disco balls and drag queens but fear not because there are many ways to wear this trend without looking absolutely ridiculous.

Go wild: If you want to go wild with this trend there are some awesome beauty products that you should try out. MAC's glitter eyeliner is a personal favorite of mine and comes in a bunch of fun colors. Another great item to try is glitter mascara; this look should be reserved for evening only and be careful not to rub your eyes too much (glitter in the eyes hurts).

Go subtle: If the thought of glitter has you running scared you can go easy with the trend and try a shimmery eye shadow or apply a little glitter lotion to your legs or chest. NARS body glow lotion.

Complete your glitter look by smelling great with ScentSation's new body spray: Sassy with glitter mist.

It's not for guys, yo

This guy figures his sister's Scentsations body spray may help him get more women since it works for her, but it didnt quite go how he expected...

Top 3 Nail Colors for Fall 2008

Polish colors for each season are inspired, in large part, by fashion. So, it makes sense that the biggest colors this Fall are rich blues, grays and reds.

Bold blues are very big in fashion this Fall. For polishes, go with bright blues or navy blues. The darker the polish, the shorter your nails should be.If you’re really into blue, try pairing these polishes with blue eye makeup, too.

Red is always a big color. Especially around the holiday season. With red lipstick making a comeback, red nails are the perfect match. Try to find a color that matches your lipstick to achieve a super classic look.

Grey nail polish may seem a bit drab, but it’s the perfect compliment to the season’s top color, purple. If you choose a purple polish and you wear purple often, you run the risk of either overdoing it or clashing. With grey, you’ll always match. Don’t wear grey polish if your wardrobe consists mostly of neutrals. If that’s the case, choose a brighter, bolder color to spice up your calm tones.

Invitation: Halloween Stories!

Halloween is over, and we wanna hear how yours went. Most importantly, we wanna hear about your Halloween party stories. We were lucky enough to have Halloween fall on Friday night, so there has to be some crazy stories out there. Small condition: we only want stories that involve body spray in some way. Maybe you may have used it as an air freshner after the party. Maybe you used your friend's spray and wore a mask, to have someone mistake you for her. Or you could have taken two spray bottles to use as fake jet packs for your Rocketeer costume. We might just use the most outrageous story in our next comercial...

Team Edward!

Twilight is the story of Edward and Bella’s romance. Forget any vampire romance you have read before, Twilight is so unique it is almost like it’s in its own genre. The book is marketed at Young Adult readers but it has the ability to cross age barriers and will satisfy both teenagers and adults alike.

The story is told in first person from the perspective of Bella, so the reader only ever know what she knows, making Edward and his family a mystery that is slowly unravelled through out the book. Even by the end of the book I was still thirsting for more of the Cullen family back story - hopefully their characters might be developed further in future books. Bella herself is a well written and realistic character, shy and lacking in confidence, her sarcastic inner voice narrates the story for the reader.

Twilight is simply and yet beautifully written. The descriptions of Forks leave you feeling like you can almost smell the damp air and hear the rain falling on the roof.

The romance between Edward and Bella is both touching and compelling. There is a melancholic feel to their impossible love, yet at the same time they both are unwilling to give up hope that their relationship is not doomed. The book reaches a fever pitch of excitement as the romance between Bella and Edward turns into a frantic race to stay alive.

I have heard Twilight described as “a vampire story for people who don’t like vampire stories” and I think I would agree with that. This book really has something for everyone. Young adult readers, vampire fans or romance readers will all find Twilight to be an appealing story.

For a Young Adult novel the book is quite long but don’t let that put you off reading it because each page is to be savoured. Believe me, this is one book that you won’t want to end.

Here is the trailor for the movie based on the book that will be out in theatres on November 21st:

If you enjoy love stories like this, try ScentSation's new fragrance: SMITTEN.

Fall Accessories

The fall fashion trends are ushering in another excellent season for jewelry and accessories A great fall outfit isn't complete without the right accessories. Here are some key pieces to add to your style:
Never wear a pair of jeans with your loops showing without a belt. Also, belts worn above the waste helps accentuate a woman's natural curves.
You can't really say that bangle bracelets are back since they never completely went away, but this season they're a full-fledged fashion trend. These are always feminine and fun to wear.
Scarves don't only keep you warm; they keep you in style as well. Scarf trends have been fleeting in the past years, with special ways to tie them around your neck in an attempt to keep out the cold. This scarf has a cute button added onto the design.
This watch is eclectic with an organic edge. It's glitzy, glamorous and you'll get plenty of compliments when you wear it.

All of these accessories can be found at FOSSIL.COM or at a Fossil Accessory Store near you.

And the winner is...

Leanne! Project Runway Season 5 aired last night on Bravo with a fabulous ending.

Runway collections are not about wearability. They are supposed to be about artistic vision, cohesion, originality and execution. As Kenley said last week, it's to put on a show, not design ready-to-wear. Here's something she was right about!

I am so pleased with the outcome. Leanne's collection was artistically and organically inspired, executed beautifully and told a story in color and form.I thought the order of the outcome was perfect and I was ecstatic that Kenley's copycatting ways were nailed. It was certainly no surprise she was a sore loser. Shocker!

I hope Korto is able to continue to design as well. She had some lovely dresses in her collection and her use of color is beautiful.

Yeah, Leanne!! Congrats!

If you enjoyed Leanne's artistic and beautiful collection you'll also enjoy ScentSation's new scent: Sophisticated.
